Zouk on Wednesday after the longest time, haven't been for a Ladies' Night in ages.
Finished Shaun's bottle at Velvet, almost throttled the waitress because she seemed so dense, listened to an excruciating 20mins of Mambo to appease Jeannie and ironically (or not) had tons of fun once Jeannie left complaining it was boring haha.

Mambo:
*Wake Me Up When September Ends comes on*
Darrell: "WTF! (x100)"

Darrell: "The people who like Mambo must either be damn drunk or on drugs."

In case you couldn't tell, Darrell doesn't really like Mambo.

I don't like Mambo very much cause I don't like having to follow all the moves. I mean, what a chore. I go there to dance, not to learn the arm movements to Love In The First Degree.

AND EVEN AT THE RISK OF SOUNDING LOSER/ACT COOL/ETC, I'm gonna admit that I prefer RnB/HipHop. There. I just like singing along to the songs. The lyrics are funny and the songs are catchy. Makes sense no??
I'm okay with Electro/House/Trance. Still beats Mambo hands down.

My skirt is so sparkly!

Sherry and her Hello Kitty ring which Tammy (ohsofickle.bs) recommended on her blog. This idiot travelled all the way to Tampines where Tammy said could be found the turn-turn machines to get the Hello Kitty rings.
Sherry, by the way, stays at Bukit Timah. Like at Cashew there. A.k.a bloody far from Tampines (then again Tampines is like at the end of the world).

Mystified that Sherry's prehistoric 5 year old camera can still work.

Heehee I bought 4 shots of Sex On The Beach. Not very potent already, but Sherry's alcohol tolerance is SO BAD.

Which is why I was very tempted to buy her a Flaming Lamborghini (potent) because I knew she would die. Like die-ed. Dieded-ed.
Anyway in the end I got an Extreme Titillation (like a Flaming but tastes better) which I still had to share with her, and ended up drinking almost everything:

In case you're wondering, here's how it works:
The drink comes in two small shot glasses, one brown (the alcohol) and one white/green (depending on the flavour).
The alcohol will be lit with a blue flame and you quickly drink it while it burns, and when you're almost done the girl pours in the white/green thing, which if I'm not wrong, is coconut milk.

Anyway not trying to act cool or what lah, Sherry didn't know how it works either. And like there are tons of drinks I wouldn't dare try too.

I think my blue skirt is so cute cause it's super sparkly! Plus it's a good length (not too short) and has an inner layer. I was actually gonna buy it but in the end this skirt was sponsored to me by the very nice girls at WONDERSTELLAR :)

Here's a preview of their latest collection:

I like these two items from their latest post! Their collection is up already so do take a look over at wonderstellar.livejournal.com :D

I keep attracting cats nowadays.

I saw a girl trying on her wedding dress the other day. She was twirling and looking at herself in the mirror, smiling as she thought of herself wearing that on the first day of forever.

And I thought, Good luck with that.

Pasta + carbonara sauce + luncheon meat cubes

My first batch of luncheon meat turned out super burnt cause I flipped them over too late.

Which day after a break up is the hardest? Is the the day after? Two days after? Three days after? A month later? The day of your anniversary? The day you notice the photos and mementoes and wonder what to do with them? The day your Itunes picks a particular song? The day you finally stop crying?

Being single's been weird. I wake up with no plans and no one who really cares about what I ate today or what I'm doing or who I'm meeting. And I don't know, that's kind of both good and bad? Cause obviously everyone wants someone who cares about you. But I never liked having my every move dogged either. It's only been a week but it feels like forever. I'm okay. I think it's for the best anyway.

And some random stuff I read in the newspaper:
HAHAHAHA EPIC FAIL. FAIL. DAMN FAIL.

I can bet I know what everyone's first thought was... But no anyway the Swiss are making condoms specifically for 12-year-old boys.

Okay I have more pictures to post but I'm so layyzeee.
Visited SMU yesterday, it seems so commercialised. I mean they only have ONE canteen, and it's Koufu (a kopitiam brand in case some didn't know...There's another branch at Cine).
At NUS each faculty has its own canteen, and they're all the normal primary/secondary/JC school type of canteen stalls where you can get noodles for $2 a bowl (for real) and the ice lemon tea is only $0.50 (for real).

Watched the boys play Team Fortress last night and then L4D2 yay! But so sad I got barreled off the bridge before getting to shoot many zombies sigh.

Bye.

My school life is so boring that Wednesdays are Outfit Theme Days. The theme for the day above was flowers, in case anyone couldn't tell.
We had Stripes last week but forgot to take pictures. Skirts tomorrow!

It's kind of lame but imagine if you could get like 15 people in stripes sitting together in the lecture theatre. I think that would be funny!

Anyway,

I was reading the newspaper a while back (yes I read the newspaper) (And not just Life! for the comics) and it reported this UK couple striking lottery and winning S$232 million o.O
MASSIVE!
Just like that they're richer than Guy Ritchie and whoever else there is in UK. S$232 MILLION. Can you imagine what you'd do with so much money??
The husband is gonna build like this wind tunnel thingy in his own backyard so that he can go fake sky-diving whenever he wants to -_-

On the other hand, I also read a newspaper article recently about what happens to lottery winners. One winner's brother is currently in jail for hiring a hit man to kill his brother (hoping for inheritance)?!
His family and friends also kept pestering him to invest in their businesses and etc and the result is that within a year he was $1 million in debt.

And also, that UK couple I mentioned has their picture splashed across newspapers everywhere. It must be incredibly dangerous for them or their family to go out now? I mean it would be so easy to just kidnap one of them and demand a ransom. I'd hire tons of bodyguards to follow me around haha.

Seems winning the lottery is like one of those creepy tricks you read about in stories- where you're granted any wish you want but it comes with a very very costly price tag- a devastating event that happens to you shortly after enjoying your wish.

Demspey:

I don't even like champagne, but their wedges were not too bad! Minimum $150 expenditure to sit near the mosquito coils haha.

And because in Australia you can't get McDelivery:
This was after I had ordered McDelivery, and asked her on MSN if she wanted to Skype so she could see my Cheeseburger. She said no.

Pictures from when we sent Chloe and Teresa off! Quality is horrible, don't know what mode Jeannie put her camera on ugh!
Chloe's in Melbourne now studying Environmental Science at University of Monash. If NUS had Environmental Science here I'd probably have taken that! ):

HIDEOUS PHOTO.
Mad rush for time because Chloe left on Reunion Dinner day (CNY). Couldn't find ANY photo shops open so I had to print them at home and obviously the size and quality isn't right!

SAJC!

Amanda so interesting, and Teresa ever camera-ready.

Looking at NUS' Student Exchange Programmes now. I'm not dying to go but it would be a really good experience! I'm looking more at universities in USA or Europe. Haha so cool Yale is a partner university! IVY LEAGUE!!!
And this might be quite lame but I really wouldn't mind going to a university in Paris. I mean for someone who's half French, I've spent a pathetic amount of time in France and haven't visited Paris since god knows when.

Okay nap time bye bye!
