Miscellaneous boredom

UGH Socrates (or Plato) is giving me a headache. It's such a drag to read my Philo book cause he just goes round and round and round (and on and on and on)...

Right now I only have projects for South East Asian Studies and Geography. At least I'm not in Architecture where people (Sarah) slept 2 days straight in school on the tables so as to work on their project. Yawn I even have time to play Farmville (Level 19!).

Anyway, who knew evil could look so good?! (Cliche, but fitting). GIMME SOME OF THAT MALFOY.

Ooohh... Arms (biceps)... Eyes... Mouth.. He even has a nose :o

Haha like in lecture the other day we were sitting in the same row as The Cute Boy going like: "Ooh I can see his beautiful feet!" and "Got a glimpse of his beautiful nose!". Okay in reality he isn't all that. (Even if he were, feet are well.. just feet). But it makes for interesting distraction.

Dan Brown's newest book The Lost Symbol is coming out on Tuesday! Eggcited! Bet y'all didn't know that! No one I enthused to about the book knew. >:(

Back to people-watching. Bye bye.

$300+ well spent (?!)

Last year I started on a little project to keep track of what and how many movies I watch a year.

The Cathay tickets are the best, cause 5 of them in a row is the width of one A4 piece of paper. So basically my aim was to watch one A4-piece-worth of movies, which basically means 30 ticket stubs. I've no idea what advantageous result I get from this (other than knowing the extension of my contribution to the box office) but it was just interesting.

Anyway so last year with the A-Levels and all, this is what I got:

26 movies! Just 4 ticket stubs shy of A4.

THIS YEAR... SO FAR...

34 movies and it's still September!

My stubs were entirely in chronological order till I found another 5 tickets in my drawer naturally after I was done, so that's that for orderliness.

Oh well anyway the printing on ticket stubs is really bad. The Cathay has the longest-lasting printing, the best size and the best thickness (unlike the flimsy nonsense from Shaw). Okay you just wasted 5 minutes of your time learning about all that.

Bye bye!

September Weekends

Nothing to do after school one Thursday so I met Sherry and Rachel in town. Considering Sherry's using a DSLR (drool.....), the photos still turn out crappy! Sheesh thank goodness for IPhoto's lighting and contrast thingy.

We went to the supposedly High-Class/Luxury Burger King at Ion Orchard, er the only difference is that the decor is black and gold.

Waddup with the Bambi eyes Sherry!!!

Rachel cute huh.

Doing an lj pose! You'll see this a lot on livejournals haha. Fringe displayed in full glory, check. Nondescript wall background, check. Dark lighting, check.

Sherry: "I've seen you wear this dress before". *disdain disdain disdain* Sob.

Friday:
Randoms to Butter Factory because Overeasy was packed. Not my idea. Asahi mini cans and Cherry Brandy. Random fun (?) fact- I can tie a knot on a cherry stalk with my tongue. Survived 3 hours in trance/house/techno/? without complaining, good job to me.

Saturday:
Watched G-Force in 3D. Seeing the 3D version (cough $13 cough cough) was totally Rudy's suggestion. The boys fell asleep during the show hahaha. Storyline was pretty dumb- the MOLE is the evil mastermind behind world domination, posing behind the faceless facade of a Chinese mogul. Wtf? But it was pretty cute! Like the hamster was making snow-angels in its sawdust! And I actually heard many people laughing... Everyone came out wanting to buy a mouse/hamster/guinea pig/member of rodent family awwwwww.

Down to Zouk for me and Butter Factory for Rudy. I haven't been into Phuture since 11th July. Whereas Chloe has been going every week haha ahem.

Yuck weird eyes.

Good job with the forced abs Jude!

and what's with all the bold-ing?

Sophie: So sad I'm going for lecture alone. I need to pee lor but got no one to look after my things.
Chloe: Call me using the 3G thing haha, then leave your phone in front of your things so I can watch it for you.
Sophie: HAHAHA imagine someone tries to steal, then a phone starts shouting at him.

Seriously just imagine like:
"AYE YOU! Yes you!!! I SEE YOU YOU KNOW! You better put back the things!!! If not I will.. umm... well umm... But anyway it will be very bad! You better watch out! OI! YOU! YOU COME BACK NOW! I MEAN IT!!!"

2pm
Rudy: I just got up.
Sophie: During the time you were sleeping, I tested the ice mocha at the canteen, learnt ex-president Reagan believes in aliens and discussed my friend's new ex-boyfriend (and the cute boy in lecture). Productivity at its peak!

Okay this is taken from mp3_share.livejournal.com, which is an mp3 sharing community (that must have been hard to guess). Anyway I just saw someone post this:
"Requests
Hi,
i'm looking for the following songs:
>> Do You Wanna Date My Avatar? - Felicia Day
>> If You Seek Amy (uncensored version) - Britney Spears
I always read that in this song you can understand the F word... but in my version that doesn't happen."

HAHAHAHAHA I'd have thought everyone had figured out by now that If You Seek Amy sounds like F U C K Me. Hahahahahaha uncensored version...

Resurrection of the personalized bathrobe!

"Today you are you; that is truer than true. There is no one alive that is youer than you."- Dr Seuss

By the way Year One is insanely stupid. It was mildly funny at times, but a very trashy omg-so-lame kind of funny. And those few funny moments were pretty much encapsulated in the trailers already. Like seriously I'd rather re-watch G.I. Joe or something equivalently average than have watched Year One.

Can't wait for G-Force to come out! I know it looks pretty stupid too but the guinea pigs are so cute! (Typical girly teeny bopper vibes here). Byeeeeee.

Omg sadness ))))))):

FRANCES IS IN SINGAPORE IDOL TOP 24!!

Vote for her! She has an awesome voice and she's really funny!

Back at St Margs, Frances, Sonia and I always wound up at the library together during Chinese period and we'd have a hilarious time doing stupid things and talking about stupid things. Like when we spied on a teacher conference and got caught so we had to run away, when the crux is that the teacher conference was entirely in Chinese, which we obviously do not even understand. Or played SpiderWeb and climbed the horizontal beams (we're talking a one floor drop unto the table below..) and trying to lure the librarian out (yes Frances, shouting CHEEBYE is very effective) or scribbling things on the wall.

Watch out for her if you're catching the show tonight, she's contestant no.2!
