LAST DAY OF WORK TOMORROW

My work hours are 8.00am-5.45pm

Today at work I wrote down all the things my mom owes me money for (e.g. driving lessons), ticked "Quit Job" off my to-do list, approximated the floor plan of my room and potential room makeover and tried to think of what clothes I'd like to sell.

It is somewhat disconcerting that I am learning how to write a resignation letter before I have ever learnt to write my resume.

The woman in the cubicle across me comes in at 8.40am every day while the one in front of her spends the first office hour cleaning her workstation. She either has OCD tendencies or a dire skiving habit, because today she even came over to clean my table.

I'm free! Next up is to think of how I can spend my earnings.

Sorry for low quality pictures, she doesn't stay still long enough to capture a good shot. As for the name, I suggested Pixie, Vampire and Marley. I think she looks like a miniature bear. She's still a little frightened of humans right now but she's getting better. 

She is my 6th hamster so don't worry I am like hamster cognoscenti I love my hamsters very much!

Went to work myself the other day (no joke okay, from Marymount to Boon Lay). I hate taking bus in the morning because it's so cold and depressing. All you see on buses are emotionless faces lined up two by two, eyes closed to block out their problems to try and catch a few moments of rest. They plug in to unfeeling slabs of metal and plastic, and beyond the fogged-up windows, the world passes them by.

I wrote a to-do list today, and the task at the top of my list and the only one in caps is.. QUIT JOB.

I finished the book I was reading during lunch break, and flipped through the 2009 IKEA catalogue 3 times. I fell asleep again and dreamt I was being chided for falling asleep at work (how apt). No but really, I am utterly useless faced with data entry in the morning.

I suddenly remembered this one particular time I read all the Calvin and Hobbes comic books I could lay my hands on. A totally random memory, but when was that anyway? Secondary school? Soon, I'll be entering university (optimism at play here). Sometimes you wonder where time has gone.

Haha yesterday I thought to myself that I had better quit before they fire me, because after 2 laborious weeks of trawling through 30,000 transactions, my final figures didn't tally. SOB.

There was a little mobile Stitch, I freed it from its confines (it was tied and hence "walking" in circles. Really, the goodness of my heart surprises me) and beckoned it over. So cutesy!

I finally got round to submitting my application for NUS.

Watched Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li (yes I know, wtf?). OMG IT WAS SO BAD. Edmund Chen's in it haha so random. The storyline really sucked. I'm assuming Chun Li is supposed to be pure Chinese, but even if not, she changed from a distinctly Chinese little girl, to a mixed-blood prepubescent and finally to a grown-up mostly Caucasian-looking gaunt woman acted by Kristin Kreuk (Smallville anyone?).  Kristin Kreuk's Chinese was absolutely horrendous.

Anyway today I was late for work because this morning I decided to ZhNg my bedside phone hahaha:

All it needs now are atypical diamantes and what not right.

Okay one more important decision to make; what to wear tomorrow?! Goodnight one and all. I rest my weary eyes but will no less be plagued by my ever-persistent eyebags.

Went down to the Zoo where a lot of the animals are free to roam around and I was labelled a menace. It started raining so we missed the Elephant Show, and watched goats fight it out instead. Used a lot of energy forcing Rudy into the snake hut because he's terrified of them and had dinner at the KFC there! Also forgot to bring out my wallet.

K I increased lighting and all that to lessen my eyebags sob.

The stupid things bit me!!!!!! Should probably have not been trying to pet it though.

Life is getting pretty boring. Everyone seems to be drifting away, I haven't seen some in ages. The only ones I see now are like Rudy and Chloe. WHERE MY PARTY PEOPLE AT? 

I can't remember what we used to do anymore but even if we were just sitting about rotting (usually at Lido), I still enjoyed just being out in the company of my friends. I can't even remember when was the last time we were all there and laughing about something or another. And come to think of it, I don't even know who "we" is anymore.

TGIF!

Yesterday at work I cut my nails, fired an automatic grenade launcher and chased after 2 monkeys. I also tried to cock the round into the launcher but wasn't strong enough, and have a hole in the sole of my shoe so large I can put my finger through it. That is all!

P.S. Watchmen sucked. I heard about people walking out halfway but wanted to catch it anyway and yes it really was quite bad. BORING. After 1.5hours you're genuinely wishing for the film to end soon. Marley & Me was not too bad, I cried when the dog died. I had a dog okay, and I was the one with it when it died at the vet's, so I know how it feels!

today I'll crawl out of bed

Job sucks. Aside from the dreary monotony, it totally robs me of my time. Whatever part of the day that isn't spent in office is used to try and cram as much fun/quality time as possible to make up for my boring day, meaning I am severely deprived of sleep. Then I get cranky the next day so it spoils my intended fun-time. Am I making sense? Whatever I am also having a sore throat.

Liak actually paid for entry and then sat there the whole time. Think he might even have fallen asleep.

Haha Swing was having an eye infection. She went wearing contact lens in one side and then gave up and took them out and hence was practically half blind. Not cool.

NUS Open House on Sunday, campus looks quite big! Okay I think I'm pretty much set on FASS (Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences). At least I don't have to choose my major till Year 2 so that's quite good. There's Burger King at the FASS building haha. Alright must not count my chickens before they hatch and all that, I haven't even applied.

Driving lesson, omg gross my instructor said he misses me and asked me "go makan together after lesson" wtf wtf. At least my driving skills haven't gone rusty! Am only on 7th lesson zzz.

Sat alone in the dark and tried to make friends with a neighbourhood cat. I asked it to keep me company but it walked away. Sang out loud to fill the silence and waited for you to come.
