Essentials Shoot with Xiaxue

I know this is pretty backdated but anyway here it is! Blog post about my Essentials Photoshoot with Xiaxue (:

We all had to go get our hair done first at a salon and I got the braids haha. I already knew one of the other girls previously, and she called me beforehand to bring heels for her because she forgot. Ah yes the girl I know is Jade, the one with the pink hair. Funniest is that she's also half-French! Met her a pretty long time ago through mutual friends.

We were told that the theme was spring, and hence to bring any floral/pink/yellow etc stuff we had. Funny enough but my wardrobe had nothing like that! Everything floral consisted of flowers but on a black background. Not very Spring-like. So I wore this pink floral crop top from Forever21 that I've had for a while but never dared to wear out.

Thought this picture was really nice because of the flowers! But they couldn't use it because you can't see the last 15cm of my hair and that's what the whole blog advertorial was about.

Looking at Xiaxue's zhnged phone. It's seriously damn heavy after all the crystals and bows and etc!

By the way everyone kept staring at us because 1) Xiaxue has blonde hair and 2) Jade has pink hair. Like we went to Yoshinoya to eat lunch and there were these school kids on some class trip (to Yoshinoya? Whatever) and they just kept STARING.

Xiaxue's lipgloss. I didn't know what it was and semi-believed them when they said it's like a lip injection to make your lips thicker. Put it on and here's the secret: there's chili in it. The stupid thing makes your lips burn i.e. turn red and swell o.O Painful!

HAHAHAHA! But I'm wearing these insanely high heels (Suhana's).

Anyway the two questions everyone kept asking me during/after were How is Xiaxue like in real life, and How short is Xiaxue really?

Obviously I don't know how short she specifically is, just quite short lah haha.

As for how she's like, she's really quite nice! I didn't find her different from how she appears on her blog, so that means she doesn't fake stuff you know? She's very approachable and quite funny, like when she talks about Plasticzilla (Dawn Yang) and Mike. I mean all in all she's just normal and nice!

I found it really weird to call her Wendy though, because all these years I keep thinking to myself Xiaxue Xiaxue Xiaxue.

So anyway I've quite a lot of Essentials hair products in my cupboard now haha. Haven't gotten the chance to use all yet because I left for Europe so soon after. Speaking of which, I AM DYING WITHOUT INTERNET. It is so frustrating to have to rely on random free wireless networks and dumb hotstops called FreeWifi but that are NOT FREE.

Zouk last Saturday, before both Teresa and I leave on Sunday. (Teresa back to Australia where Chloe is and me for my holiday!) So sad they hugged her goodbye and I was like Eh I'm leaving too! ):

Haha okay a one month holiday is nothing compared to studying overseas but still!

I know I should be blogging about my Europe trip instead, but I have a whole backlog of photossss... And anyway with every day here I wind up with like 50 new photos. The idea of uploading and sorting them out is extremely daunting right now.

Today's our last day in London, we're catching the 2.30pm train to Brussels, Belgium tomorrow. Spent today visiting Hyde Park and Buckingham Palace myself, talking to a cute salesboy at Ted Baker and filling my accessories box to the brim. Seriously it can barely close now. I got at least 5 new rings so far and 4 bracelets, if not more. Plus awesome Aldo heels! (Awesome because they were on sale).

The sun is up for insanely long periods in London. It comes out early and sets late. At 8.30pm it's still pretty bright. Middays are so insanely hot and the sun is incredibly glaring. Sunglasses shops must make a fortune here, almost everyone is wearing a pair.

I'm so sleepy. Need to accompany my friend tomorrow to buy KitKat, because apparently UK KitKat tastes better o.O (KitKat sold in Singapore is made in Malaysia, while here it's made in Ireland). I'm missing Singapore ~ buaiz!

HELLO FROM THE LAND OF SHAKESPEARE, TOPSHOP AND FISH&CHIPS!

I am so super tired. My luggage was almost 15kg, but that's nothing considering I'm going to be in Europe for a month. What is something is that my friends are only here for 2 weeks and their luggages are HUGE. And weigh 21kg. -_-

Airplanes tales another time, spent the afternoon at H&M and Primark. Convent Garden and Camden Market tomorrow! And maybe Leicester Square. Oh we're staying with my friend's aunt at her house near the Wimbledon, so the whole place is swamped with tennis enthusiasts and girly stalkers. Quite hilarious but tons of neighbours have signs up leasing their front lawn out as a carpark for the audiences. 25 GBP for a full day of parking, no joke. That's what all the signs say.

Accessories I packed! Alaric kept scaring me saying what if they lose my luggage so I was gonna carry all this in my carry-on bag but it was really too heavy.

Had to cut down on the shoes and bags I had packed ):

The 3 Privilege cards I've had, with the newest one at the top. They renew membership (if you get renewed) every 6 months.

And my 2 passports! (Turns out my French passport had expired. Didn't know till we got to UK immigration and the guy mentioned it so... I whipped out my Singapore one instead haha).

Alaric came to pick me up while the rest came down to say bye! ♥

Super sleepy, need to get up early tomorrow too. Will try to update asap. So... wAtch thIs SpAce!~

OMG I filmed another makeup tutorial video, and AGAIN the sound wasn't captured! The most annoying is that I tested taking videos both before and after, and there was no problem at all?! I give up on Photobooth, next time I'll use my camera ugh.

Been pretty busy because I am leaving TOMORROW for my Europe trip! I'm kind of excited, but a little sad too because I'll be away for a whole month ):
