Here I'm wearing it slightly tucked into my white shorts. And this is me in the lift that goes right up to Sam's doorstep haha. (Doubt people would remember, but Sam just moved from Sentosa Cove to a condo near Cineleisure. Nice life or what.)

I remember how once we were talking about how when people lose the key to their house they have to change the lock.
Darrell: "Eh Sam, so if you lose your condo card then how? Must change whole lift?"

Such a sweet dog! Honestly I don't think it LOOKS cute, but it has such an endearing temperament that it becomes cute. And okay until now I can't remember its name. There are two of the, Coco and Buddy, and I still can't tell which is which.

We go to Sam's house so often because he has so many things to play with there and everyone can just help themselves to his fridge haha.

(more animals)
AND THIS IS HAMLET:

She was snoozing under my shorts on the bed so this is her looking all sleepy teehee.

So pretty! To be honest I don't even know if it's a girl or boy.
The shopkeeper (Holland Village) said it was a girl, but he wasn't sure either. And plus in the beginning he was telling me about going to Malaysia if I wanted "exotic animals" that are banned here so I have my doubts about his logic.

(Me mentally going -_- and thinking "How could I be interested in 'exotic animals' when I asked for a hamster? You can't get less unexciting than a hamster. And the animals are banned for a reason, so even if I bought them in Malaysia, I still can't bring them into Singapore right?!" -_- again)

Going for the Bonitochico birthday bash tomorrow! Haha dammit I had to turn down attending a Nuffnang event because I had already gotten tickets for the BC thing. I remember when I first saw the details for getting tickets to it, I said to Sherry:
"Omg have you seen the email? Machiam like getting tickets to the moon." (Very unglam way of speaking I know, but using more obscure Singlish terms once in a while can be amusing)

Will take pictures and blog them. In the meantime, bye!

Photos with Horses

Wednesday, August 18, 2010
Did these photos the other day for a new webstore called Clothes & People! When the two owners told me to go to Rider's Cafe I expected it to be just a horse-themed cafe so I was pleasantly surprised to realise we would be taking photos with an actual horse!
I think the pictures turned out really pretty after whatever effects they added to them, and also because of the great background and prop (horse). I mean it doesn't even look like Singapore anymore! Anyway the other two girls are called Amber and Calista, whom I was meeting for the first time that day (:

Photos!

Haha the owners even prepared real picnic food for us to eat while taking the photos! The horse kept coming over to try and get some snacks for itself; so cute!

HAHA this photo looks so funny. Amber's face is like :D + :O and I'm like *pout*- "what's this?" (mental dialogue).

My eyes were hurting like crazy for these looking-at-the-sky shots ): Anyway the reason why sunglasses/frames keep getting featured in the photos is because Clothes & People sells authentic sunglasses too.

GAH I look insanely longggggg here because of the angle.

Anyway this was/is not an advertorial but if you like the photos above you can go check out their webstore: Clothes & People
The two girls that own it are very nice (:

So... like I said in my Twitter (a brain-cracking URL of twitter.com/sophiewillocq), I'm extremely good at doing nothing. The other day I read quotes (Wikiquotes) from every single episode of all 5 seasons of How I Met Your Mother (HIMYM).

Photobucket
I love this show, it's hilarious! It's supposedly going to stop after the 8th season ):

Anyway some of you might have noticed on Facebook that you have friends calling themselves something Stinson. Like for example I have two friends who changed their Facebook names to Alvin Stinson and Derrick Stinson -_- (despite me saying that this will never make them like the HIMYM character, Barney Stinson).

Barney Stinson is the blonde guy with the high forehead, who in real life is comedian Neil Patrick Harris, and is supposedly (or openly) gay. This is a huge contrast to his character Barney, who comes up with all kinds of ploys and tricks to get girls.

Barney Stinson:
Seriously. Jesus started the whole Wait Three Days thing. He waited THREE days to come back to life. It was perfect! If he had only waited ONE day, a lot of people wouldn't have even heard that he died. They'd be all, "Hey Jesus, what up?" and Jesus would probably be like, "What up? I DIED yesterday!" and then they'd be all, "Uhh, you look pretty alive to me, dude..." and then Jesus would have to explain how he was resurrected, and how it was a miracle, and then the dude would be like "Uh okayy, whatever you say, bro..."
And he's not gonna come back on a SATURDAY. Everybody's busy, doing chores, workin' the loom, trimmin' the beard, NO. He waited the exact right number of days, THREE.
Plus it's SUNDAY, so everyone's in church already, they're all in there "Oh no, Jesus is DEAD", then BAM! He bursts through the back door, runs up the aisle, everyone's totally psyched, and FYI, that's when he invented the high five. Three days. We wait three days to call a woman, because that's how long Jesus wants us to wait.... True story.

Everyone needs to watch the show itself to really see the humour!

Alright, I've so many plans for blogposts for this old, old space (I've been blogging since early 2005 to be exact, but only moved here end 2005) but like I said, I'm good at doing nothing. And surprisingly (or not), that helps time pass incredibly quickly. But I think I'll be able to sell off some of my clothes soon!

NDP 2010

Sunday, August 15, 2010
So one day at NUS my friend was kidding and saying he wasn't gonna put back his tray because: "then I pay school fees for what?" Before anyone gets all flustered, yes I know we should put back our trays etc etc and yes I know school fees are for a myriad of other reasons. Like free healthcare and the opportunity to meet cute boys.
Anyway, today I saw a man bring his plate back to the stall, and pick up his fork when it dropped under a table along the way. And this was at a coffeeshop. So... my point is that it was pretty unusual.

Photobucket
For National Day Diana made reservations at New Asia Bar, which is at Swissotel/Equinox on the 70th floor! This meant that we would have an awesome view of the fireworks, but sadly I had no idea they started so early in the evening. So Alaric and I spent the time during which the fireworks started sitting in the car navigating around the dumb one-way streets the CBD is so bloody fond of.

The total bill was S$400+ o.O They ordered 4 bottles of champagne! Alaric and I had school the next day at 10am (like I mentioned previously, NUS students are the only morons going to school now) so we only got french fries. Which, er... cost $30.
Okay I mean the listed price was $14, but after GST and minor contributions for the like, 3 glasses of champagne the two of us has... Geez pretty expensive for french fries.

Me: But I was saying that since she hit on him when drunk, means maybe like, subConScious feelings haha. Like deep down she's singing some Taylor Swift song to herself. "Can't you SEEEE, you belong with MEEEE"
(no link to above photos or anyone pictured above)

My friends in SDE (School of Design and Environment) are totally swamped with work already although it's just the first week of school. Sarah was in school yesterday (on a Saturday night) while I perfected my skills of doing nothing. Another friend said he has 7 assignments due over 3 days. I've only been at NUS 4 hours so far. Life is good!

And because I'm feeling relatively chirpy, I will say this: I love blogging! That will be all.
