What.... I haven't been online since Thursday.... why so much happening on my tagboard! So yeah obviously none of the Sophies who just tagged are me.

Anyway no time to blog now! I'm due to meet Jeannie at NUS open house at 2pm and I just woke up. Did another photo thingy for www.pandaswithpistols.com after work so you can go check it outttt. Okay although I look quite unglam like tired and all sob sob having work sucks. Tiffany gave me the shiny bandage skirt for free woohoo. Oh I'm the one who did the website design too haha.

K laterz.

Can't believe I have only been working for 3 days... feels like forever.....

I am totally hopeless at working in the morning. But in the afternoon I am productivity queen woohoo. Really rather monotonous work though, it's just figures after figures that are meaningless to me and acronyms I don't even vaguely know what they could stand for. Had almost zero interest being an accountant previously, now it's like -1000 interest.

Lunch every day in the canteen. Canned drinks are only $0.80! How rare is that, in coffee shops everywhere they are sold at $1+. The intern beside me gets up promptly at 5.45pm and leaves immediately haha I am learning fast.

Will be doing asset verification next week! A chance to get out of the office at least.

And we're all craning our heads up cause we were below the Singapore Flyer. Popeye's is overrated, only the fries and scone-like thingys are good.

Hong Kong Day 6 and purchases!

Monday, March 09, 2009
Gracia and I share the sofa bed and she keeps asking me random questions in the still of the night.
Sophie: "You just interrupted my praying. I had to say 'Dear God, please excuse me for a minute' to reply you".
Gracia: "Let me pray now too. See whose prayer gets more attention".

Wtf hahahahaha I totally burst out laughing at that. But anyway I really do tell God very random things like "brb I go switch off the light".

Last day in Hong Kong was spent shopping at the same places we did on the first day woohoo. I wound up so seriously indebted to Gracia and Peiling sob sob sob. Peiling bought so much stuff we had to come all the way back to the apartment to drop it off before heading back out to shop again.

Bags and bags and bags of purchases.

Tsim Sha Tsui Station

We went to their Avenue Of Stars which is kind of like a Hong Kong version of the Hollywood one with the whole cement hand-prints and stuff.

Hong Kong skyline

My umbrella! So keWlz right!!!!
I walked through the entire MTR station with my umbrella open hehezxz. Reminds me of the time Peiling and I ran through the entire station playing Catch or something.

OH AND I FORGOT TO MENTION BUT... In Hong Kong you have to pay for extra McNuggets sauce! CHEAPO $_$

Purchases:

Oh anyway H&M (which is coming to Singapore soon) in Hong Kong was like very big but I didn't find much to buy there except the sheer beige chiffon top in the bottom row. And I'm not even really sure how I'll wear it haha.

Shoes I bought were so random. I bought 3 pairs of heels although I never wear heels because I have short friends. And I already have booties which cost me $80 and which I hardly wear, but these grey ones cost only $9...

The gold pair is the most redundant because.. it is one size too small HAHAHA. But it was only $3!
Bought white loafers to replace mine which are dying, although you can buy them at AMK Hub for like $10.

Didn't buy many bags, kind of have a lot already and I seem to always use the same few so what for.

Miscellaneous! Quite a lot of stuff from DFS like the Vodka and Ferragamo perfume. Coach isn't cheaper in Hong Kong but the shops here seemed to have stopped carrying this design.
The bear/pig/mouse thingys on the left are toothbrush holders so cutesy right!

Disney cherry keychain, and a Disney bracelet haha so childish.

Disney Chip and Dale notebook!

Rings, earrings and bracelets. Haha another Disney ring which can only fit unto my pinkie oh well.

Looking at what I bought, it doesn't seem like a lot right? I don't know how I managed to spend $900. There's some other random stuff I didn't take pictures of, like the 3 shorts, 3 leggings and 3 tubes of concealer (dark eye circles sob sob) and other random stuff but still...

No time to talk, no time to chat! Played Left 4 Dead yesterday for the first time, or rather I watched Chloe play it (she's damn coward, always hiding behind the rest). Zombiez kewlness. Hope I get to watch a movie today.

Hong Kong Day 5; DISNEYLAND

Saturday, March 07, 2009
So yesterday I collected my ALevel results ):
I got A for H1 Geog (quite miraculous since I failed the whole of J2) and C for GP wtf wtf wtf.
A for H2 French, B for H2 Bio and C for H2 Math and Chem.
So ABC for As I guess? Not sure if it's BCC instead since although my French is a H2, isn't it like kind of a useless subject for Uni?

Cried only a little cause I can't say I don't deserve these grades. I'd have liked an A for Bio though, but I kind of neglected it trying to pull up my Math and Chem. And damn it, C for GP sob sob sob I got B throughout my J2 year wth...

Sigh anyway I am very sick of thinking about ALevels, ALevel results, Uni and SATs so here are the Disneyland pictures:

In the MTR

That's the special Disneyland train to bring us there!!!

The statuettes at the back differ for each couch.

Mickey ears!

At the train station, which has mickey ears all over and the Mickey magician hat for pillars.

I WURV THIS UMBRELLA. AND I BOUGHT IT HAHAHA. So bloody useless cause it can only fit one person, plus it's very big (non-retractable kind). And it cost me S$24. But it is so cool I will bring it to uni every day!

Hong Kong Disneyland is split into 3 sections: Adventureland, Fantasyland and Tomorrowland, plus the Main Street which is where the shops are.

HAHA I myself remarked that I look like I have a tummyache here. Anyway that's Tarzan's treehouse behind.

On the jungle river boat ride.

Looks quite real right.

With Minnie Mouse! She was motioning with her hands that I am very tall haha. Anyway bet she is insanely bored inside that suit.

On the Winnie the Pooh ride.

S$20 for one balloon please.

Omg the Autopia car rides was the lamest ride ever. The car has an accelerator pedal and a steering wheel but you follow some track anyway so you don't even need to steer. All I did was just keep ramming into Peiling and Gracia's car to occupy myself.

Hong Kong Disneyland has pretty good landscaping and stuff, but the attractions SUCK. There are like maybe 7 rides? All of which are not even mildly scary or adrenalin-pumping. None even require you to like, deposit your bag or whatever and most can do without a safety bar.

But the fireworks show was awesome! So pretty:

Main Street and the Castle in the background. Totally deserted because we were one of the last losers finally willing to leave Disney.

Ticket entry cost about S$70, plus we all went mad at the souvenir shop and blew another S$60+ on Disney memorabilia, and that was after a lot of heart-wrenching decisions to not buy some items.

We were one of the last tourists to leave Disneyland, so the staff gave us all their free Disney stickers! Each of us got a stack of it, and those are the characters below. Not really sure which Disney characters we are missing aside from Daisy.

I've like, 6 Eeyores or something haha. Gracia and I gave this little angmoh girl on the plane back quite a few of our spare stickers aww so cutesy.

Quite nice to relive Disneyland again through blogging, but it's back to the real world of getting a job asap and uni application sigh. But, I went to the zoo today!

OH AND MY DRIVING INSTRUCTOR DAMN CREEPY. He messaged me asking if I was home. Not sure if he meant home like house-home or back-in-Singapore-home but anyway I just said Oh back in Singapore already. And he replied: Ok miss u.
OMG CREEPY I didn't reply after that. Need to start lessons again soon though zzz getting bored of driving haha.

Watched Push last night, Dakota Fanning was quite cool as were some of the telekinetic powers. Overall the show was kind of confusing and sucky though, and there wasn't much of an ending so I guess this screams sequel..
